CREA is an eminently practical course taught by professionals of the calibre of Rodrigo Sánchez, Art Director of magazines such as Magazine (EL MUNDO’s colour supplement) and Metrópoli, José Juan Gámez Kindelán, Art Director of MARCA, Juantxo Cruz, Chief Editor for Infographics at EL MUNDO, Ulises Culebro, Illustrator for EL MUNDO and the photographer Álvaro Villarrubia.
Wednesday 27 June will have the special participation of Javier Errea, President of the SNDE
The proliferation of different media and formats has triggered changes in the way graphic design projects are approached and carried out. This course will offer you the most important concepts for generating new ideas, creating innovative and effective design proposals and applying them in both paper and digital formats.
In the course of a week, participants will be attending lectures while engaging in their own design projects based on the proposals of the lecturers / professionals.
* The course’s organizers reserve the right to admit or exclude participants who do not have at least two years of professional experience. All participants must have a sufficient understanding of the use of graphic design tools.
CREA is developed around an eminently practical training system with the following structure: the first three hours in the morning will be devoted to the discussion of theoretical aspects with a lecture format. From 12:30 on, participants will start with their practical work. The day’s lecturer, along with other collaborating speakers, will accompany those attending throughout the day to guide and advise on the work being produced. At the close of each day, the participants will have the opportunity to defend their projects, on which the speaker / design professional will comment on.
